Toombs finishes the 2020 Regular Season in Style

On Friday November 20, 2020, The Toombs County Bulldogs traveled to East Dublin to face off with the East Laurens Falcons.  The game was a Bulldog exhibition of special teams, offense, and an amazing defense that held East Laurens to 103 yards of total offense in the game.  Gavin Hall relieved Chandler Lynn at Quarterback and threw his first career touchdown pass, a 23 yard toss to Jashaun Powell.  It was also Powell’s first career touchdown reception as a Bulldog.  Lynn also caught a pass from Hall, his first reception of this season and the 95th of his career.  Tamarian McArthur also had 94 yards and a touchdown on the ground.  Senior Derrick Mincey had a huge night, almost all in the first half with 13 carries 218 yards and 2 TD’s in his final regular season game as a Bulldog.  On the night the Bulldogs tied two school records, the biggest win margin and most points scored, tying the 2019 squad with the 62-0 Win.

Up next for Toombs County id Northeast Macon, the number 2 seed from region 3.  Northeast holds a 7-2 record and rosters a lot of talent and speed.
