TCMS Boys score 65 points in a 24 minute game

The Toombs County Middle School Bullpups were running and finishing at the hoop which helped them score 2.7 points per minute in their 65-43 home win over Montgomery County. For almost three quarters the Toombs County Middle School Lady Bullpups trailed by double-digits with the largest deficit being 19-2 at half. Suddenly at the end if the third quarter and all through the fourth the girls rallied eventually losing by just one-point to visiting Montgomery County 22-21. TCMS Bullpups go 2-0 with a 44-15 home win over Metter

Coming off an overtime road win at Screven County, the Toombs County Middle School Boys basketball team scored 16 points in both the second and third quarters to defeat Metter 44-15 in Lyons. Jesus Quintero, who scored 25 points at Screven County, led the Bullpups with 13 points, JuJu Cutler added 8, Oglesby 6, Caden Marsh 5, Jones 4 and Hayward, Williams and Eason each had 2.

Lady Bullpups 4th quarter rally come up 3 points short

In their first home game of the season, the Toombs County Lady Bullpup basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter and cut Metter’s lead to one. However, the Lady Tigers scored two points moments before the final buzzer to win 26-23. McKinnon scored 11 points to lead TCMS. Morris added 6 and Brantley and Watts 2 points each.
