Former TCHS Bulldog Nick Fletcher is coaching basketball in Minnesota

Nick Fletcher- a 2003 graduate of Toombs County High School- was a key two-sport athlete in his days as a Bulldog. At Booster Stadium he was a starting fullback and a safety and in the old TCHS Gym he was the starting point guard on an amazing team that beat East Laurens in the region championship game at Brewton-Parker College in 2003.

These days Nick works 1,644 miles away from Lyons in Roseau, Minnesota which is practically on the Canadian border. The average high temperature in the month of January is 9 degrees. Nick, a father of three children, is a very successful youth basketball coach. He coaches fifth and seventh grade girls basketball and eighth and ninth grade on the boy’s side.
