Jeremy Beasley ends the 2nd inducing another double play

The second inning began like the first with a fly ball out and then Jackson stroked three straight singles scoring the first run of the game before Jeremy induced his second double play ball- this time it went 6-4-3.

The bottom of the third also started with a fly ball out and with one down Domingo Leyba singled to left field and was thrown out trying to stretch it to a double. With two outs Beasley fielded a ball and his throw to first was slightly high as the General reached on an error. Jeremy took care of business and got a fly ball out to left to end the frame with the Generals still leading 1-0.

Jeremy Beasley ends the 4th with a grounder

In the fourth inning Jackson smashed a pair of back-to-back doubles to left field including one of the 24-foot high wall, somewhat similar to Little Fenway at Partin Park where Jeremy began his baseball career. That scored a run to make it 2-0 Generals. A fly out to right and a ground out to second stranded a runner in scoring position.

A fly ball out to center, a single and a pass ball gave the Generals another scoring opportunity. But, Jeremy ended his night with a grounder to short and then one near the mound which he handled with ease.
