TCMS Bullpups sink 13 3-pointers and Lady Bullpups win by 33 in sweep of Collins

It is probably a school record, but nobody can prove it. The Toombs County Middle School Bullpups made 13 3-pointers in a 62-48 win over Collins- they fired in eight in the first half and five in the second. The Lady Bullpups also won by double-digits in their 41-8 victory. Both teams are off to 2-0 starts.

Maleke Day made six 3-pointers and scored a career-high 32 points, Silas Legrant (12 points) and Octavious Barnes (9 points) each hit three 3’s and Greg Pope (5 points) came off the bench and sank one. Gage Herndon chipped in 2 points.

K.K. Mobley led the Lady Bullpups with 32 points. She scored 9 in each of the first two quarters and 8 in the third period and 6 in the fourth. Gage Herndon scored 2 points.

Trinity Robinson added 4 points, Ziahya Griffin 3 and Amarionna Smith 2.
