The Toombs County High School basketball teams opened up their home schedule of 11 dates with a pair of double-digit wins. Bulldogs stifling defense holds East Laurens to 25 points

Jamar Smith is going bowl-n as first team all-region and all-state

Former Toombs County Bulldog Jamar Smith has earned two big individual honors and his Holmes Community College Bulldogs received a bowl bid. Screven County ends Toombs County’s turnaround season in GHSA State Playoffs

The Screven County Gamecocks put together a 98-yard scoring drive to open up the game and then threw three third quarter touchdowns to end the Toombs County Bulldogs’ turnaround season with a 35-9 win in the first round of the GHSA State Playoffs in Sylvania.
