TCHS Net Dawgs come back and win a three setter over New Hampstead

For the second straight time the Toombs County and New Hampstead volleyball teams played a three set match. On September 3 the Net Dawgs edged the Phoenix in three sets in Savannah. They dropped the second set after dominating the first. In this rematch, in Lyons, TCHS was in control of the early part points in first set. However, they didn’t finish the set and lost 25-22. Toombs rallied and won the second set 25-21 and they the Net Dawgs pullled out the match by winning the third set 25-22.

Breanne Stanley’s power at the net and Brittany Higgs serving from the back line were key factors in the third set.

Toombs also played Ware County and lost 25-19 and 25-17.
