The Lyons Mites beat every team they played in the Blue Division but one- Appling County. The two teams played twice and 12 total innings and Lyons only scored one run. Appling won a Saturday game 6-1 and took the championship game on Monday 11-0. Y-101 play-by-play
Lyons only had five hits in the game and Appling did not make an error in the field. Cameron Harris went 2-for-2 and Travonne Harris, Hunter Barwick and Cameron Ledford each went 1-for-2.

Earlier in the day Lyons took care of Statesboro 12-4 in five innings. In the first inning Dawson McClendon (2-for-3) doubled in two runs with two outs and Jesus Quintero (2-for-3) followed with a RBI single. Y-101 play-by-play
Lyons scored four more runs in the fourth. Gage Brantley (2-for-3) drove in three runs with a hit and Quintero singled in another. Kip Mosley (2-for-3), Brantley and McClendon all singled in runs in a five-run fourth inning.
