TCMS soccer season begins with two convincing wins

There is a new world order in middle school soccer. The season has moved from winter to fall in search of more favorable weather. On opening day, at the Toombs County Middle School Field, the weather was much warmer than it usually is for an opener with a game time temperature of 75. Both the Lady Bullups and Pups started with convincing victories over Dublin. The girls won 6-1 and the boys 3-0.

Two Lady Bullpups, Jazmin Nahuaca and Ashtyn Braddy, tallied two goals as TCMS scored three times in the first half and three in the second half before yielding Dublin’s only goal. Myriam Tinoco and Ellie Bullard each scored one goal.

Omar Aguilar scored two goals for the Bullpups- one in each half. Kevyn Perez scored the third TCMS goal with a header off a corner kick. TCMS will play host to Dodge County on Monday, November 9 beginning at 3:30 p.m.
