Brothers Tristan Lynn and Ricardo Santana finished first and second in Toombs County’s first cross country action of the season at Vidalia High School. Running a three-mile course which includes a trip into the woods and a lap around the track at Buck Cravey Field, Lynn, a junior, won in a time of 18:35. Younger brother Ricardo, a freshman, placed second in 19:01.
Sabastion McKee was the third Buldog finisher, Bernardo Cruz was the fourth and Jason Powell the fifth.
The Toombs County Boys placed fourth behind Dodge County, Vidalia and Appling County. The Lady Bulldogs finished second behind Vidalia.
Joann Gomez placed seventh and was the top Lady Bulldog runner in 27:46. Jennifer Zamorano finished eight overall, Joanna Gaona 12th, Dominique Jones 16th, Deyra Colemaneres 18th and Demetria Jones 19th.
