TCHS Wrestlers go 9-1 at the Yellow Jacket Duals and finish 3rd

Toombs County won 90% of their dual matches in the Yellow Jacket Duals at Jeff Davis High School. However, their third place finish- out of 26 teams- ended their total dominance of the event. Bulldog wrestlers improve and bring home their second straight 1st place trophy

The Toombs County High School wrestling team despite being at full strength, personnel wise, won the Blue Line Duals at Effingham County. In pool action the Dawgs beat Islands 54-30, Windsor Forest 60-18, defending 6A GHSA State Champion Richmond Hill 38-34 and South Effingham 57-24 and then in the championship round they knocked off Ware County 47-34. Short-handed Bulldogs open the wrestling season with a Swamp Duals Championship

Fifteen Toombs County Bulldog wrestlers traveled down to Waycross and despite having to forfeit three weight classes (160 pounds, 170 and 195) they rolled through their pool with a 4-0 record and then defeated Ware County 41-40 to win the Swamp Duals.
