TCHS Wrestlers go 9-1 at the Yellow Jacket Duals and finish 3rd

Toombs County won 90% of their dual matches in the Yellow Jacket Duals at Jeff Davis High School. However, their third place finish- out of 26 teams- ended their total dominance of the event. The Toombs County High School wrestling team despite being at full strength, personnel wise, won the Blue Line Duals at Effingham County. Eight Toombs County Bulldogs were honored by the Region 2 coaches a week after the Dawgs made their third straight trip to the GHSA State Playoffs. Short-handed Bulldogs open the wrestling season with a Swamp Duals Championship

Fifteen Toombs County Bulldog wrestlers traveled down to Waycross and despite having to forfeit three weight classes (160 pounds, 170 and 195) they rolled through their pool with a 4-0 record and then defeated Ware County 41-40 to win the Swamp Duals. Hannah Roberts is the 2016 TCHS Valedictorian
