Bulldogs play fast on Day 8 of Spring Football Practice

Head coach Richie Marsh has stressed that his Toombs County Bulldogs play fast during spring practice-even if they make a mistake. Bulldogs score in the red zone on Day 7

On Friday the Toombs County Bulldogs opened Spring Football Practice with the pads on for their first of nine days plus a scrimmage game. The Bulldogs worked with their position coaches. Toombs County High School’s Chandler Lynn and Demetrius Owens were honored at the 9th Annual SEGA Football Awards Banquet in Waycross. Lynn, a sophomore, was named Toombs County’s Offensive Player of the Year and Owens, a senior, took the Defensive Player of the Year Award for the Bulldogs. Demery Hawkins was a dominating athlete for Toombs County High School in both football and wrestling from the fall of 2005 until the spring of 2009.
