TCHS Bulldogs end season with 48-16 win

The Toombs County Bulldogs ended the 2015 season like they started it with a convincing win. The Dawgs opened with a 22 point home victory over Johnson  and they finished with a 48-16 victory over Single A Claxton in a crossover game in the Pecan Grove. Cody Dowd Benefit

Cody Dowd, a former Toombs County Bulldog baseball and football player, recently underwent surgery in Cyprus to straighten his back and he had stem cells injected in to his injured area in order to stimulate movement in his lower extremities. Soap Box Derby cars run down the hill at Partin Park

The Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby might have a new home. On Saturday and Sunday racers from as far away as Kentucky and Florida were competing in stock, super stock and masters divisions, at Partin Park, in Southeast Georgia’s first rally race. Ten Toombs County Bulldog Seniors wanted to win their final game in Booster Stadium. However, Tattnall County scored touchdowns  in the first and second quarters and a field goal in the fourth in a 17-8 victory. All eight Bulldog points were scored by senior Jordan Usher.
