Savannah High rolls to two wins at TCHS

Savannah High School rolled in to the Toombs County Gym and won a pair of Region 1 AAA crossover games by double-digits. TCMS Bullpups pull away in the fourth quarter and win their first game

The Toombs County Middle School Bullpups outscored visiting East Laurens 7-2 in the fourth quarter as they pulled away and won their first game of the season 30-25. Tattnall County Warriors breakaway from the Bulldogs in the 4th quarter

The first meeting between the Toombs County and Tattnall County boys, in Lyons, was decided in the final seconds when the Warriors  Jamaine Coney followed up a 3-point air ball miss and scored with 2.3 seconds left to put Tattnall up for good. TCHS wrestlers win once and lose twice on the second day of the GHSA State Duals

The Toombs County Bulldogs opened the second day of the GHSA AAA Team Dual Wrestling Championship with a 48-19 loss to Lumpkin County. However, the Dawgs bounced back in the consolation round with a 40-36 win over Spencer. Then later in the day TCHS was knocked out of the tourney by McNair by a score of 38-31. Morales and Morgan propel Toombs County to GHSA State Dual victory over Calhoun

Since 2008 Toombs County High School has had two state tourney match ups with Calhoun and both times the Yellow Jackets prevailed.
