Lady Bulldogs open season with two straight wins

Toombs County BOE accepts Lyman Guy’s resignation

  For the third time since 2013 the Toombs County Bulldogs are seeking a new head football coach. On Friday morning (November 20) the Toombs County Board of Education, by a unanimous vote, accepted the resignation Lyman Guy as head coach of the Bulldogs after two 2-8 seasons. Toombs County is moving down to Double A

Toombs County High School athletics spent 18 consecutive seasons in class AA in GHSA- from the 1996 football season through 2014 spring season. For the 2014-15 school year TCHS was reclassified as a AAA school and was one of the smallest with 831 students. The Toombs County High School basketball teams opened the 2015-16 season in the brand new TCHS Gym. Joann Gomez scored the first Lady Bulldog bucket, Keshawn Morgan scored the first Bulldog point, D.R.
