oombs County High School senior Jalisha Knight ended her Lady Bulldog days with a bang and two major accomplishments. She won two more state titles at the GHSA Girls State Track Meet in Albany and she set her first state record. Knight won the 100 meter and 300 meter hurdle races, giving her four state titles, and she set a GHSA Double A State Track Meet record in the 100 hurdles by winning the race in 14.16 seconds- .17 better than the state mark. Jalisha won the race by more than a second over Alaina Cook, of Decatur, who ran a 15.16.

Knight won her 300 meter title by over a second over another Decatur runner. Jalisha ran a personal record 44.11 and defeated Ashleigh Rasheed, who finished the race in 45.32. Knight received 10 team points for each victory propelling TCHS to a tenth pace finish in Double A.

Jalisha won a state championship in the 300 meter hurdle race as a sophomore and the 100 meter hurdles as a junior. In her first state meet, as a freshman, she placed fourth.
