Bulldogs runaway in third quarter with their second victory

The Toombs County Bulldogs and the Appling County Pirates shared a similar record and a victory over a common opponent entering their Region 1 AAA subregion game in Baxley. Both teams had one win- a subregion victory over Pierce County. TCHS Bulldogs take third place at Raider Invitational

The Toombs County wrestling team finished third at the Raider Invitational at West Laurens. Three Bulldogs won individual titles- senior Nathan Belch and two freshmen- Cruz Arredondo and Ricardo Santana each won their weight classes. Devin Matthews and Ervin Mincey placed second, Justin Hall was third and Jonathan Quintero finished fourth.

TCMS Bullpups finish 6th at their Christmas Duals

A week after winning the Swamp Duals at Ware County, the Toombs County Middle School wrestling team placed sixth in their Christmas Duals. The Bullpups beat Swainsboro 70-39, lost to Ware County 70-38, lost to Tifton 95-18, defeated Pierce County 77-50 and lost to Richmond Hill in the fifth place match 90-54.
