During the COVID-19 pandemic Musselman went to try out at the Baseball Factory National World Series and in less than a week he received an email that he was wanted for the showcase. This game or series of games are for high school students, ages 14-18, to showcase their abilities in front of collegiate scouts, trainers, and even coaches. This will take place in the latter part of July into early August in Pirate City (Bradenton, Florida).
