CSU completes a 3-game PBC sweep of Flagler with a 2-1 win

The Columbus State Cougars have moved into first place in the Peach Belt Conference following a home weekend sweep of Flagler. The Cougars took game three 2-1 on Sunday.

CSU is 11-3 overall and at 5-1 in the PBC. The Cougars lead 4-1 Georgia College and Lander by ½ a game. Columbus State will play host to Montevallo- from the Gulf South Conference- on Wednesday and then Lander will travel to Columbus for a three-game series starting on Friday.

Former Toombs County Bulldog D.R. Meadows went 0-for-4 at the plate. He popped up to short, grounded out to first and grounded out to third base in his final two at bats.
