Santana and Rodriquez improve to 10-0 with five wins at Effingham County

Through two dual tourneys- at Ware County and Effingham County- Toombs County Bulldog senior wrestlers Martin Santana and Ariel Rodriquez have won their first 10 matches of the season. Both went 5-0 on Saturday at Effingham County. Jose Balderos won four of his five matches with his only loss being a 7-5 decision.

This season the Bulldogs have a new head coach. Brooks Climmons- who assisted Bill Benton last season- is in charge of the Bulldog program and Sam Sapp is coaching the Toombs County Middle School Bullpups.

Climmons is a two-time GHSA State Champion and he was a finalist twice at the big national tourney in Fargo winning the event in 2010. He has trained at the Olympic Training Center and wrestled at the Division 1 level at the University of Oklahoma and Old Dominion prior to moving on to Brewton-Parker College.
