The Bulldogs season ends in the playoffs with a 3-1 loss at Harlem

The Toombs County Bulldog soccer team yielded two second half goals at Harlem ending their season in the second round of the GHSA Playoffs with a 3-1 loss.

Harlem’s Bradley Jones opened the scoring with a goal 10 minutes into the match. Toombs tied it a t 1-all on a penalty kick. The Dawgs took a corner kick and there was a foul. Julian Marin-Vital booted the PK into the net with 17:21 to play in the half.

Nobody scored for the rest of the first half so both teams had a goal at the break.

Harlem scored a goal just a minute and six seconds into the second half on a kick by Jeremy Glidewell and then 17 and a half minutes later Logan Phillips scored a second Harlem goal to put the home team up 3-1.
