Overtime, historically, has not been kind to the Toombs County Bulldogs. In 2013 they lost to Bryan County, at home in 3 OT’s, 34-27. During the 2007 season the Bulldogs rallied to tie ECI at 35-all and then they lost in an extra session 42-35  In 2003, in Booster Stadium in the first round of the state playoffs, Toombs dropped a 26-20 decision to Brooks County in the first overtime and the year before TCHS lost another OT game, in the Pit 20-19, to Southeast Bulloch.
