The Toombs County Bulldogs raced to a 5-1 lead after 2 1/2 innings in their final non-region road game of the season. However, Bleckley County rallied scoring two runs in the third inning and four more in the fifth in the Royals 7-5 victory.
Toombs scored a single run in the first inning. Chandler Lynn singled to right field and Bryce Deloach doubled to left to put two runners in scoring position and the Dawgs scored on a Martin Stephens grounder to the right side of the infield.
Dalton McBride opened the second inning with a single to left and Kyle Knight and Trey Cloud each drew a walk. Lynn, who went 3-for-4, and Deloach came back up for their second at bats and each drove in a run with a single. Bryce (2-for-4) is on a hot streak with nine hits in his last 16 at bats.
In the third inning McBride singled to center and Knight was hit by a pitch. Noah Anderson drove in the fourth Dawg run with a sacrifice fly to right field and Trey Cloud singled to center to bring in the final TCHS run of the game
