Jeremy Beasley opened his second season of professional baseball making his first minor league start for a new team in a new league. Beasley started the second game of a doubleheader for the Class A Midwest League Burlington Bees. Jeremy threw three innings and allowed four hits and two earned runs with two strike outs and no walks. Beloit scored single runs in the first and second off Jeremy and one more in the seventh inning to nip the Bees on a 57 degree night in Burlington, Iowa. Beasley took the loss.
Beasley threw 58 pitches and 45 were strikes. He allowed a pair of singles in the first and Beloit scored a run on a grounder to third base. In the second Jeremy yielded a one-out double and a two-out RBI single. He retired the Snappers three-up, three-down in the third inning on a pop up, a fly out and his second strikeout.
