Two big Benedictine innings take down the Bulldogs in the Lyons rematch

On Tuesday, in Savannah, the Benedictine Cadets scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings to nip Toombs County 2-1. In the rematch, at Jacky Jones Field in Lyons, the Cadets scored three times in the first inning and five more runs in the third to sweep the Bulldogs with an 8-5 Region 2 victory.
