Lady Bullpups lose their 1st game, Bullpups rally for their 6th victory

For the first time this season the Toombs County Middle School Lady Bullpup basketball team was beaten on the scoreboard and for most of the game it looked like they were going to improve their record to 7-0. The Lady Bullpus went on a 16-0 run and opened up a 24-9 lead. However, Glennville rebounded with a 14-2 run to get back into the game and the visitors from Tattnall County pulled out a 33-31 win.

K.K. Mobley led TCMS with 19 points, Ziahaya Griffin scored 6, Brandi Sharpe 4 and Trinity Robinson 2.

The Bullpups trailed Glennville 22-19 going to the fourth quarter. In the final six minute period TCMS outscored Glennville 10-2 to pull out a 29-24 victory. Octavious Roberts and Gage Herndon each scored all four of their points in the final quarter. Silas Legrant, who led TCMS with 10 points, also scored a bucket in the fourth quarter. Jashaun Powell added 4 points, Maleke Day 3 and Hunter Herndon and Greg Pope each scored 2.

Both TCMS teams are 6-1.
