Bulldogs win 5th straight Yellow Jacket Duals

The Toombs County High School Bulldog wrestling team defeated nine different opponents to win their fifth straight Yellow Jacket Duals championship at Jeff Davis High School. In the semifinals the Bulldogs beat rival Vidalia 60-23 which set up a first ever championship dual against Veterans High School- normally TCHS meets Ware County for first place. However, Veterans knocked off Ware in the semifinals. The Bulldogs came back from a 9-0 deficit and defeated Veterans 40-27.

Jonathan Morales, Jaden Clark, Ervin Mincey and Rolando Tinoco won four straight matches- the last three with first period pins and then Cruz Arredondo and Ricardo Santana clinched the dual with wins by points.
