Keshawn Morgan scores 3 TD’s, Rig Tinoco drills 2 FG’s (26 & 50-yards) and the Dawgs defense stifles the Indians in 26-7 win that ends the 8-straight

The 2008 Toombs County Bulldogs shutout Vidalia 20-0. The 2017 Dawgs may not have blanked the Indians, but they did control the match up, at Vidalia, by excelling in all phases of the game. On offense the Bulldogs controlled the line of scrimmage, with their low pad level, allowing Keshawn Morgan to score three touchdowns. On special teams Rig Tinoco kicked two field goals in the first half from 26 and 50-yards and on defense the Red Bullets shutout the Indians in three of the four quarters. All those elements allowed the Bulldogs to end the Indians run of eight straight victories with a 26-7 win which more than pleased the thousands of TCHS fans who filled the bleachers and any open space at Buck Cravey Field.

Morgan scored on runs of 3,1 and 6-yards. He carried the ball a season-high 35 times for a season-high 204-yards. Keshawn picked up 10 of the Bulldogs’ 16 first downs.
