In their last three wins, prior to the Claxton game, the Bullpups have fallen behind by 12 points twice and six points once. In the Pecan Grove the Bullpups scored the first touchdown. Bryar Douberly intercepted a pass and then Kodi Cortez threw a touchdown pass to Bryson Stanley.
The Bullpups scored their second TD on a 5-yard run by Lakendrick Stearns in the fourth quarter. TCMS failed on two, two-point conversion passes giving the Bullpups a 12-0 lead. Claxton scored a touchdown on a 5-yard run and completed a two-point conversion pass to cut the Pup lead to 12-8. Claxton recovered a Bullpup fumble and the Tigers drove in to the red zone. However, the Bullpups kept the Tigers out of the end zone to secure the victory.
