The 2008 Toombs County Bulldogs shutout Vidalia 20-0. The 2017 Dawgs may not have blanked the Indians, but they did control the match up, at Vidalia, by excelling in all phases of the game. 6th Grade Bullpups beat Bacon County 16-14

Last year the 6th Grade Toombs County Middle School football team split with Bacon County including a tough loss at home in the championship game. This year the Pups went to Alma and lost the first game to Bacon. However, in the rematch Artevias Williams scored a pair of touchdowns on runs to 50 and 37-yards in a 14-12 TCMS home win over Bacon.

The margin of victory over the second place Jeff Davis Yellow Jackets was only two points.
