This season, on a rebuilding Toombs County High School volleyball team, Taylor Halligan and Gracie Alvarado have provided senior leadership and fine play on the court. Those two veterans were honored on Senior Day between matches versus Savannah High and Appling County.
Taylor has been a Net Dawg for four seasons and she is the libero. The libero wears a different color jersey than her teammates and she is a defensive specialist. Taylor is known for ability to dig balls and serve winners. In the future Taylor wants to be a radiologist.
Gracie joined the Net Dawgs for her junior season and she has an all-around game. She can play at the net and on the back line and she also can win her team points with her serve. Gracie plans on becoming an elementary school teacher.
