JV Bulldogs open season with home loss to Swainsboro

If the Toombs County Bulldog Junior Varisty offense had been more successful in the red zone than their season opening home game, played on the TCMS Field, could have been a shootout and not a 30-7 loss to Swainsboro. The Bulldogs made three trips inside the 20-yard line before they finally scored an early fourth quarter touchdown on a pass from quarterback Trey Cloud to tight end Cole Graham. The two also combined for touchdown in the scrimmage at Hephzibah.

A potential second Cloud touchdown throw to Tyquan Toby was called back due to a chop block.
