Lady Bullpups hit some shots in loss to Glennville

The top of the order for Toombs County Middle School Lady Bullpups were hitting some shots in a home game against Glennville, but they didn’t hit enough in a 16-5 loss which dropped their overall record to 1-3.

Ziahya Griffin, who plays third base and bats second, led the TCMS offensive attack with two triples, a double and two runs batted in and on one of the three-baggers she was thrown out at the plate. K.K. Mobley is the leadoff hitter and she stroked a triple and scored a pair of runs. Lilly Keairns lifted two hits to center field and she drove in a run. Lauren Hattaway smashed an opposite field RBI double to left and Rebecca Herndon pulled a run scoring double to left.
