Former Georgia Southern Eagle Isaac Ferrell will coach the Bulldogs at Paulson Stadium

Toombs County defensive line coach Isaac Ferrell played on the offensive line for the Georgia Southern Eagles from 1991 to 1994. On August 19th at 5 p.m. the former Eagle will be back at Paulson Stadium when the Toombs County Bulldogs play East Laurens in the Erk Russell Classic.

Coach Ferrell started his first game during the 1993 season against the Miami Hurricanes and Warren Sapp. By his senior season, in 1994, Ferrell was an All-Southern Conference offensive lineman. He played on the first Georgia Southern team to win the Southern Conference. A 31-24 win at East Tennessee on November 20, 1993 wrapped up the conference title. That team went 10-3 and lost in the second round of the NCAA 1-AA Playoffs at Youngstown State.
