Game 1- GHSA Semifinals- Yellow Jackets trump the Dawgs in the sixth

In the first game of the GHSA AA State Semifinals the Toombs County Bulldogs and the Jeff Davis Yellow Jackets exchanged the lead five times including in the sixth inning when the Dawgs scored three runs to take a 6-3 lead. However, each time Toombs would take a lead JD would answer and in the bottom of the sixth the Jackets scored six runs in their 9-6 victory. Jeff Davis won the second game 13-3 in five innings to move in to a championship round match up with Elbert County.

The Jeff Davis win stopped the Toombs County winning streak at 12 straight wins- six in the regular season and six in the post season.
