TCMS Diamond Day- 3 run-rule games

The three games played in the 2017 Toombs County Middle School were all decided by double-digits. Bacon County run-ruled Toombs County 10-0 and J.R. Trippe 17-2 and then in the final game J.R. Trippe defeated Toombs County 15-2. The Bullpups scored when Kodie Cortez singled in Derrion Harris and Ashton Luke singled in Cortez.

Too many errors doom JV Bulldogs at Jeff Davis

The big scoreboard at Jeff Davis High School said the Toombs County High School junior varsity baseball team made five errors. The Bulldogs thought that number was too low. They counted seven mistakes all leading to a 6-2 loss to the Yellow Jackets. The junior varsity Bulldogs are 4-3. Bulldogs leave 13 on base and score only 1 in 3-1 loss to Appling

In their two non-region losses this week to Southeast Bulloch and Appling County the Toombs Count Bulldogs left 19 runners on base including in 16 scoring position as they lost a one and a two-run game. Most of those left on came in a painful 3-1 loss at home to Appling. The Dawgs stranded 13 including 11 in scoring position. They left the bases load twice and lost a runner…

The Lynns pitch and hit the JV Bulldogs to a win over Islands

  Sophomore Dalton Lynn and his eighth grade brother, Chandler, are both playing for the same team for the first time in their Bulldog careers. Each is a member of the Toombs County junior varsity baseball team. Lefty Logan Knight strung together three straight three up, three down innings from the third to the fifth in his home start against ECI.
