Too many errors doom JV Bulldogs at Jeff Davis

The big scoreboard at Jeff Davis High School said the Toombs County High School junior varsity baseball team made five errors. The Bulldogs thought that number was too low. They counted seven mistakes all leading to a 6-2 loss to the Yellow Jackets. The junior varsity Bulldogs are 4-3.

Toombs County took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on Chandler Lynn’s RBI hit and a double steal which plated a run. Cole Graham pitched the first four innings and allowed four hits with five strikeouts and two walks. Noah Anderson threw the final two innings. Graham stroked a single and a double and Anderson and Chase Miller also had hits.
