9 TCHS wrestlers are going to the GHSA Traditional State Tourney

Nine Toombs County High School wrestlers finished in the top four at the GHSA Class 2A-A Sectional Tournament at the TCHS Gym and they will all move on to the state tourney in the Macon Centreplex. Seven Bulldogs are honored on Senior Night 2017

A large class of senior Toombs County High School basketball players were honored on Senior Night. Six Bulldogs were playing their final regular season game and one was watching from the bench as TCHS lost to Swainsboro 69-55. A big Senior Night for three Lady Bulldogs

Toombs County High School seniors Joann Gomez, Dominique Jones and Jocelyn Walker have been key contributors to the Lady Bulldog basketball program for the past three seasons. In their careers Gomez has averaged 6.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game. Jones 6.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists and Walker 5.4 points and 9.3 rebounds. Jamar Smith is going Division 1 at UTEP

Former Toombs County Bulldog Jamar Smith’s two years leading Holmes Community College in tackles has paid off with a Division 1 football scholarship to the University of Texas at El Paso. Jamar signed 9:17 a.m. central time prior to going to class at the Mississippi school. Jamar was the 12th player to sign with UTEP on National Signing Day.
