5 Bulldogs wrestlers advance to the semifinals in the Sweet Onion Invitational

The Sweet Onion Invitational is known for it’s competitive nature. The brackets are challenging and they tested the Toombs Coutny Bulldogs on the first day of the 2017 tourney. Five Dawgs survived the first three rounds and advanced to the semifinals.

120 pounds- Ricardo Santana won his first two matches with a pin and his quarterfinal match with a 9-0 majority decision.

126 pounds- Gage Clark won his first two matches with a pin and his quarterfinal match with a 13-4 majority decision.

138 pounds- Justin Hall advanced to the semi’s with a bye and two pins

220 pounds- Ervin Mincey advanced to the semi’s with a bye and two pins

285 pounds- Rolondo Tinoco moved to the semifinals with a bye and two decisions- 3-1 and 5-4.
