The championship of the Bullpup Christmas Duals at Toombs County Middle School Gym came down to round five and two undefeated teams. Toombs County and West Laurens both were 4-0 heading in to the final round of the event. Despite coming from 20 points down, the Bullpups lost by only six points, 59-53.
West Laurens opened up a 12-0 lead, but the Pups rallied and took a 15-12 lead thanks to pins by Alex Gordy and Jacob Edwards and a win by Blake Hall. West Laurens rallied and surged to a 38-18 lead. Eli Bridges pinned his opponent and Cameron Braddock won by a tech to pull the Bullpups to with nine points. Robert Kent, John Davis and Gibson Wood closed the dual with big Bullpup pins.

In the first four rounds TCMS won three duals by big margins- 93-24 over Jeff Davis, 141-60 over J.R. Trippe and 108-12 past Dodge County. The Bullpups edged Richmond Hill 66-65 with Kent winning the decisive match.
The junior varsity Bullups defeated Dodge County 66-39, lost to Jeff Davis 80-30 and then they rallied and beat J.R. Trippe 67-49.
