Short handed Lady Bulldogs lose by 34

A third quarter incident at Metter definitely effected the Toombs County Lady Bulldogs in their Saturday afternoon home game against Pierce County. JoAnn Gomez and Dominique Jones each received two technical fouls after a tie-up for a loose ball on the floor and neither was available to play against Pierce and neither will be dressed out for a Tuesday home region game against Jeff Davis per GHSA rules. Without those two starters TCHS struggled to score points and the Lady Bulldogs did not hit double-digits in any quarter in a 61-27 loss. The Lady Bulldogs are 2-3 overall and 0-1 in the region.

Shakevia Knight led TCHS with 10 points, Jocelyn Walker and Christine Mobley each had 7 and Ashunti Campbell 3. Ilasha Wilkins led Pierce with 25 points.
