TCHS JV and Varsity wrestlers take care of Brantley County

The Toombs County wrestling team opened the season with a sixth place finish in the Gator Duals in Waycross. However, the Bulldogs competed in that event without a full roster on the day after the Bulldog football team lost to Screven County in the playoffs. In their second event Toombs played host to Brantley County in a pair of duals and the Dawgs won the junior varsity match up 45-12 and the varsity ruled 54-24.

For the varsity Bulldogs Martin Santana, Cruz Arredondo, Ricardo Santana, Jaxson Sistrunk, Luke Anderson, Cameron Panick, Ervin Mincey and Rolando Tinoco all won with pins. Dallas Coursey took a 12-7 decision and Brandon Hall won 10-7.

Alex Gordy, Landon Claxton, Adam Edwards, Terrell Williamson, Demetris Owens, Matt Lanier and  Dakota Braddock all won junior varsity matches with pins. Jaden Banks was a 10-8 winner in overtime.
