The Toombs County Lady Bulldog softball team won their third straight game with a 15-4 Region 2 victory over St. Vincent’s in Lyons. In all three victories the Lady Dawgs have scored 10 or more runs.
On Friday the Lady Bulldogs rallied from a 10-6 deficit pulling out an 11-10 home win over Swainsboro. Kierra Williams scored the game winner after getting involved in a run down. On Monday Megan Dukes, Taylor Thompson and Liilian Pittman each had two hits in a 10-5 non region win at Wheeler County.
On Tuesday, against St. Vincent’s, Thompson had a RBI single and scored a run in the first inning. Courtney Moore singled in a pair of runs and Amanda Powell doubled in two teammates. Thompson had another RBI hit later in the five inning game.
