TCMS Bullpups win first game since 2014 season

Entering game two of the 2016 season the Toombs County Middle School football team had not won a game in 710 days. On October 6, 2014 the Bullups beat East Laurens 6-0, at home, on an eight-yard touchdown run by Jalen Jones. Fast forward to September 15, 2016 and the Bullups defeated Portal 34-6 in Lyons to end the drought. The 1-1 Pups next game will be on Saturday, September 24 with a home make up match up against Claxton. The game will kickoff at 12 noon.

All five TCMS touchdowns were scored in the first half and on runs- one by Jamarion Robinson and the next four by Chandler Lynn.

Lakendrick Starnes scored two touchdowns as the younger Bullpups shutout Portal 16-0 in the fifth quarter game.
