Bulldogs make some big plays in scrimmage

The Toombs County Bulldogs moved their fourth practice to the afternoon. Originally scheduled for the Pit, the practice was moved back to the school after a rain storm made Booster Stadium unplayable. Lady Bulldogs get ready to open up the 2016 season

Four Toombs County Lady Bulldogs seniors are just days away from opening up the 2016 softball season. Megan Dukes, Courtney, Amanda Powell and Taylor Thompson will all be in the starting lineup when the Lady Bulldogs open up on Monday, August 8 at 4:30 p.m. The next day TCHS will open up the home schedule against New Hampstead at 5:30 on Y-101 Radio. Meet new TCHS offensive line coach Sam Rodgers

Sam Rodgers, the Toombs County Bulldogs’ new offensive line coach, is quite familiar with the area. His father, Randy, was the superintendent of the Montgomery County School system, and he began his coaching career in Mount Vernon. Rodgers, though, is a graduate of Fitzgerald High School.
