Ashtyn Braddy controlled Portal from the circle and the Toombs County Middle School Lady Bullpups softball team tallied a dozen runs in a 12-0 four inning home win over Portal. Braddy tossed a no-hitter allowing Portal only had two base runners on two walks and both runners were stranded at second base. Harley Hester led the TCMS offense with two hits and four runs batted in. The Lady Bullpup defense did not make an error.

The Lady Bullpups are 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the subregion.

Braddy pitched a three up, three down ball in the first and the third inning, striking out two batters in the third. In the second inning she walked the leadoff hitter and stranded her at second base, after a steal, with back-to-back strikeouts. Ashtyn walked a batter in the fourth with one out and then ended the game with a strikeout and pop up which she handled between the circle and home plate.

TCMS took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a bases load walk by Rebecca Herndon which scored Emma Salter. In the second Aspen Johnson and scored on a grounder by Miya Bullard. Braddy singled and stole second and third base and she scored when Hester doubled in a pair of runs,

In the third inning Rilyn Fitzgerald doubled to deep center field and she scored on a wild pitch. Hester singled in two more runs and then Ziayah Griffin doubled in a run and Johnson singled in one. The game came to an end on a RBI bunt single by Braddy.
