The Toombs County softball and volleyball teams both won road region games on Thursday. The softball girls beat St. Vincent’s 16-7 to go 3-0 in games played in the Coastal Empire and the Net Dawgs took care of Dublin 25-9 and 25-13.

The softball team is 3-4 overall and 1-3 in Region 2 action. The Net Dawgs are 6-1 and 3-0.

Highlights for the Lady Bulldogs in Savannah

Amanda Powell went 3-for-4 with a double, walk and a run scored.

Megan Dukes 3-for-4 with two RBI’s.

Lilian Pittman went 2-for-2 with a RBI double and a single. She scored two runs and walked.

Brittney Beckam went 2-for-2 with a RBI double, a walk and two runs scored.

Courtney Moore was 1-for-2 with a RBI double and a run scored.

Sage Jones 1-for-1 with a double and a walk.

Lexi Martin 1-for-2 with a run scored

Calvnika Davis 1-for-1 with a run scored.

Taylor Thompson 1-for-3 with two runs scored. Taylor also pitched the whole game and allowed four hits and two earned runs with five strikeouts.
