D.R. and James have a big week

James Ethredge and D.R. Meadows represented the Toombs County baseball program quite well nationally this past week. Ethredge, a former Dawg who will be a junior at Valdosta State, pitched a scoreless inning in the MINK League and Meadows, who will a Bulldog senior, batted .500 in the WWBA National Tournament held at LakePoint and other sites around Atlanta. Lyons Flea Girls get ready for their first state tourney

Twelve members of the Lyons Flea Girls softball team are practicing, in the heat, getting ready for their first trip to the GRPA State Tournament. Lyons finished second in the District 1 Tournament in Vidalia losing to Dublin in the championship round.
