Countdown to Toombs County Football
After a week off for GHSA Dead Week the Toombs County Bulldogs were back on the practice field beginning their July push to the start of the 2016 football season.

The Dawgs were very busy in the month of June with weight lifting, workouts, seven-on-seven and OTAs at Pierce County. In the OTs the Bulldogs were in pads competing against other teams. “Down there we played Fitzgerald and Charlton, two of the best teams in 1A and 2A in the state,” head coach Richie Marsh said. “Crisp County was very talented and Pierce County and their coaching staff do a very good job. We had our times where we saw some flashes of some really good things and times where we have to learn that it is every play. We’ve got to play every rep and that wasn’t the case and I think it showed.”
